Rekindling and nourishing our relationship with plants and the other-than-human world is a crucial component in reawakening the wider bonds of our belonging and an ethic of care for our communities; both essential in cultivating optimal health and resilience and a sustainable future for all.
This immersive, 5 hour field workshop is for those who desire a deeper knowledge of and connection to local plants and holistic ways of knowing, being and healing. Opportunities to learn and practice skills in keen observation, deep listening, plant identification through familiarization with plant family patterns, and honorable harvesting will be offered. Medicinal uses and edibility of those we encounter will also be discussed and each participant will make a remedy to take home (price includes medicine making supplies and handouts).
Special Note: kiddos 12 and up welcome and pay full price; 8-11 attend for free and those 7 and younger not encouraged as their limited attention span may inhibit accompanying adult from fully engaging.
*Exact location and meeting place will be provided to all participants before the workshop.
Space is very limited. Please sign up early to reserve a spot.
