[VIRTUAL] Herbal Infused Oils & Salves Workshop / June 3rd
Thursday, June 3rd, 5:00 - 7:00pm
Instructor, Liz Philbrick, certified clinical herbalist & nutritionist
Join herbalist, Liz Philbrick, in this virtual class to make an herbal infused oil and salve from home. Herbal infused oils and salves are healing and nourishing topical applications. They can be used in a myriad of ways—luxurious massage oils, first aid balms, pain relieving ointments and more! In this class participants will learn how to extract the therapeutic properties of herbs by infusing them into oil. We will then cover how to make a salve, which is a combination of oils and beeswax. In addition to making an infused oil and salve, we will cover the therapeutic properties of the ingredients that make up oils and salves, as well as various recipes.
This event will be held via Zoom. You will receive an email with Zoom meeting details a few days before the class.
If you would like the ingredients to make some of these products at home, you can purchase a Maker's Kit. This kit includes the ingredients to make three 1 oz salves. You can either pick up your Maker's Kit or have it shipped to you for an additional shipping charge. If you would like to pick up your kit, you can select the "local pick up" option at checkout.
