Join certified clinical herbalist Liz Faermark for a ritual celebration of good health.

Fire cider is a traditional tonic that’s made with vinegar and a variety of immune-supportive herbs and foods like garlic, onion, horseradish, hot peppers, spicy roots, and aromatic herbs. Making fire cider is a traditional way to prepare for the transition from the warm days of late summer and fall, to the more quiet and inward times of late fall and winter. Come learn about the history, lore and benefits of fire cider. And concoct your own fire cider for immune and digestive support! We’ll be using a variety of locally sourced veggies and herbs.

All materials provided. Participants will take home one pint jar of brewing fire cider, and a handout summarizing what we learn!
