This immersive field class with longtime Herbalist, Cat Pantaleo, is for those who wish to expand their current level of self-reliance and well-being through acquiring a deeper knowledge of and connection to local plants and the land. 
A beautiful blend of scientific and intuitive ways of learning and knowing, participants will be offered opportunities to recover their senses, practice keen observation, as well as learn the fundamentals of plant identification with a focus on plant family patterns. Therapeutic uses, edibility and best preparation practices of those we encounter will also be discussed. The class will conclude with the practice of honorable harvesting and each participant will go home with a remedy made in the field. 
Price includes handouts and medicine making supplies. Each participant will go home with a remedy made in the field.
