Herbs for the Winter Blues / January 25th
Every winter, around January/February we fall into the blues. Whether we call it SAD (seasonal affective disorder), a lack of vitamin D, or just a mental and emotional low, we often tend to feel depleted, unmotivated and get the blues this time of year. Luckily, there are simple and effective ways herbs can support and energize our mental and emotional health. In this class you will learn:
-
How to nourish your unique rhythm through the seasons
-
How to work with teas, infusions and tinctures, and how to dose them to fit your personal needs
-
The spiritual and medicinal benefits of plants such as St John's wort, rhodiola, stinging nettle and passionflower
