Welcome to the Little Herbal Apothecary
Little Herbal Apothecary is a community-centered herb shop in Lafayette, Colorado, rooted in care for people, plants, and place. We offer a thoughtfully curated selection of organic bulk herbs, essential oils, aromatherapy tools, tinctures, herbal teas, smudges, crystals, and meaningful gifts.
We also create our own line of botanically inspired skincare and herbal care products, including offerings for pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. All of our products are handcrafted in small batches right here in Lafayette, using high-quality, organic ingredients and traditional herbal practices.
Throughout the year, the Apothecary hosts classes and gatherings designed to deepen connection with plants and self. Our workshops cover topics such as organic skincare, family herbalism, women’s health, plant identification, and more. On the first Friday of every month, we invite you to join us for Make & Take Night, where you can create a fully customized skincare product to bring home. We also offer private workshops and events for groups looking for a more personalized experience.
Faith Rodgers
apothecary owner & certified clinical herbalist
Hi, I’m Faith, apothecary owner, Certified Clinical Herbalist, and educator with a lifelong passion for the wisdom of plants. I founded the Little Herbal Apothecary in 2017 as a space centered around community connection, education, and access to high-quality herbal remedies.
I love helping people incorporate herbs into everyday life, whether through conversations over the counter, medicine-making demonstrations, or hands-on herbal workshops. I also lead a six-month Herbal Immersion Program for aspiring herbalists looking to deepen their knowledge and connection with plants.
Outside the apothecary, you can usually find me hiking Colorado trails, playing board games with my kids, or strumming my ukulele.
Amber Wood
store manager, certified clinical herbalist & nutritionist
Hello. I am a certified clinical herbalist and general manager of the Apothecary. I studied herbs at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism here in Lafayette. I am passionate about helping others take control of their own health with the support of herbs, food and exercise. I love learning about local plants and discovering new ways of using them as both food and medicine.
In my spare time I enjoy wandering, reading, listening to music, traveling, preparing food, sharing meals and laughing with friends.
Alli Barber
certified herbalist
Hi, my name is Alli and I am a certified herbalist. I graduated from the Advanced program from the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism in 2019. Born and raised in Colorado, I have been drawn to herbs since my teens and found them even more important when I became a mother. I love to use herbs in my everyday life, especially when I can use them in my cooking!
In my free time you can find me reading, cooking, gardening or hiking with my husband and my five children.
Alanna Fernandez
production manager
Hello! My name is Alanna. Landscaping in Colorado for 9 years has shown me the natural growing states and environments where our ever present variety of local herbs thrive. Diving deeper into the plant world and community brought me to volunteering for a year at Moondance Botanicals in Denver, Colorado where I began to learn about the medicinal properties of plants. Totally immersed in the growing and working with plants, I started incorporating herbs into the making of my own products. As the production manager at Little Herbal I love getting dirty in the creation of our many loved products that people return for again and again. When I’m not producing in our kitchen, I usually am seeking out water, sailing, cooking (more importantly eating) delicious things with friends, creatively expressing myself, or walking my sweet pup.
Rachel Bull
certified clinical herbalist
Hi, I'm Rachel! I received my formal education as an herbalist through the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism where I graduated as a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Flower Essence Practitioner. When I was first introduced to the art of herbalism, I quickly found solace on my personal journey of healing. I love incorporating herbs into my daily life, especially when it comes to my skincare routine and baking endeavors (most often in a loaf of sourdough). On my days off, I enjoy being by bodies of water, going for solo walks, reading a wide variety of novels, baking to my heart's content, and having meaningful conversations! I also have a private practice: Rhythmic Healing Herbalism. If you are interested in a session, visit my website: https://www.rhythmichealingherbalism.com/offerings
