Our certified organic and unrefined Plum Kernel Oil is a lightweight, silky-smooth carrier oil pressed from the fruit kernels of Prunus domestica. It has an irresistible, mild almond/marzipan-like aroma and contains high percentages of the skin nourishing oleic and linoleic acids as well as a complement of other fatty acids. Unlike many carrier oils, Plum Kernel Oil features full-spectrum Vitamin E tocopherols (predominantly γ-tocopherol), lending significant antioxidant activity, as well as traces of a variety of very long-chain fatty acids so beneficial for skin.

Depending on the type of product you are formulating, you can use between 2% to 100%. For a massage oil, we suggest combining 5% - 20% Plum Kernel Oil with 80% - 95% of another carrier oil, or a combination of other carrier oils.
